I. OBJECTIVE |

La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana tiene como
objetivo identificar y clasificar las substancias y
materiales peligrosos más usualmente transportados,
de acuerdo a su clase, división de riesgo, riesgo
secundario, número asignado por la Organización de
las Naciones Unidas, las disposiciones especiales a
que deberá sujetarse su transporte, límites
cuantitativos de cantidades limitadas, y cantidades
exceptuadas permitidas, y las correspondientes
instrucciones de envase y embalaje, métodos de
envase y embalaje o el método de envase y embalaje,
e instrucciones para el uso de unidades de
transporte, Recipientes Intermedios a Granel y
Cisternas Portátiles y sus disposiciones especiales. |
This Official Mexican Standard has the objective of
identifying and classifying the hazardous substances
and materials most usually transported, according to
its class, division of risk, secondary risk, number
assigned by the United Nations Organization, the
special dispositions to which their transport must
be subject to, quantitative limits of limited
quantities, and permitted excluded quantities and
the corresponding instructions of containers and
packaging, methods of containment and packaging or
the method of containment and packaging, and
instructions for the use of units of transport,
Intermediate Bulk Containers and Portable Cisterns
and their special dispositions. |
