1. Objective

Esta Norma Oficial Mexicana tiene como objetivo establecer los requerimientos generales de seguridad para el diseño, construcción y reconstrucción de autotanques destinados al transporte de gases comprimidos, especificación SCT 331, incluyendo las pruebas básicas de integridad a que serán sometidos los autotanques nuevos y los de uso para constatar que cumplen con esta especificación.

The objective of this Official Mexican Standard is to establish the general safety requirements for the design, construction, and reconstruction of tanker trucks for the transport of compressed gases, specification SCT 331, including the basic integrity tests to which new and used tanker trucks will be subjected. to verify that they meet this specification.
