General Provisions

Artículo 1. El presente ordenamiento tiene por objeto establecer los requisitos, procedimientos y demás actos que permitan la realización de las actividades de Reconocimiento, Exploración y Explotación de Recursos Geotérmicos previstas en la Ley de Energía Geotérmica, para el aprovechamiento de la energía térmica del subsuelo dentro de los límites del territorio nacional, con el fin de generar energía eléctrica o destinarla a usos diversos.

Article 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to establish the requirements, procedures and other acts that allow the performance of the activities of Reconnaissance, Exploration and Exploitation of Geothermal Resources detailed in the Law of Geothermal Energy, for the use of the thermal energy of the subsoil within the limits of the national territory, in order to generate electricity or designate it for different uses.

Artículo 1. El presente ordenamiento tiene por objeto establecer los requisitos, procedimientos y demás actos que permitan la realización de las actividades de Reconocimiento, Exploración y Explotación de Recursos Geotérmicos previstas en la Ley de Energía Geotérmica, para el aprovechamiento de la energía térmica del subsuelo dentro de los límites del territorio nacional, con el fin de generar energía eléctrica o destinarla a usos diversos.	Article 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to establish the requirements, procedures and other acts that allow the performance of the activities of Reconnaissance, Exploration and Exploitation of Geothermal Resources detailed in the Law of Geothermal Energy, for the use of the thermal energy of the subsoil within the limits of the national territory, in order to generate electricity or designate it for different uses.
