Introduction La hermeticidad de las fuentes selladas es un requisito indispensable para cumplir con las normas de seguridad radiológica, tal y como lo establecen los artículos 59, 60, 61, 64, 65, 66, 67 y 68 del Reglamento General de Seguridad Radiológica. Esta parte de la reglamentación demanda que existan garantías sobre la integridad del encapsulado de las fuentes selladas, las pruebas de fuga se realizan con la finalidad de determinar si una fuente mantiene su hermeticidad, y así tomar medidas que garanticen la integridad de las mismas, a fin de reducir al mínimo el riesgo de dispersión del material radiactivo, lo que podría ocasionar una contaminación. The hermeticity of sealed sources is an essential requirement to comply with the radiological safety standards, as established in articles 59, 60, 61, 64, 65, 66, 67 and 68 of the General Regulation of Radiological Safety. This part of the regulation demands that there guarantees exist on the integrity of the encapsulation of the sealed sources, the leakage tests are carried out for the purpose of determining if a source maintains its hermeticity, and thus take measures that guarantee the integrity of the same, in order to minimize the risk of dispersion of radioactive material, which could cause pollution.     $2220.00 PESOS INCLUDES IVA
