General provisions

Artículo 1.
La presente Ley es de orden público e interés social;
sus disposiciones son de observancia obligatoria en el
territorio del Estado y tienen por objeto establecer la
concurrencia del Estado y de los Municipios en la
formulación e instrumentación de las políticas públicas
para la adaptación al cambio climático, la mitigación de
sus efectos adversos, para proteger a la población y
coadyuvar al desarrollo sustentable. |
Article 1.
This Law is of public order and social
interest; its provisions are mandatory in the territory
of the State and are intended to establish the
concurrence of the State and
Municipios
in the formulation and implementation of public policies
for adaptation to climate change, mitigation of its
adverse effects, to protect the population and
contribute to sustainable development. |
