Artículo 1.
La presente Ley es de
orden público, interés social y de observancia general
en el territorio nacional. Tiene por objeto reconocer y
garantizar la protección, salvaguardia y el desarrollo
del patrimonio cultural y la propiedad intelectual
colectiva de los pueblos y comunidades indígenas y
afromexicanas, en términos de los artículos 1o., 2o.,
4o., párrafo décimo segundo, y 73, fracción XXV, de la
Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y
los instrumentos internacionales en la materia. |
Article 1.
This Law is of
public order, social interest, and general observance in
the national territory. Its purpose is to recognize and
guarantee the protection, safeguarding and development
of the cultural heritage and collective intellectual
property of indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples and
communities, under the terms of articles 1, 2, 4,
twelfth paragraph, and 73, section XXV, of the Political
Constitution of the United Mexican States and
international instruments on the matter. |
